Title: Wheat Germ Muffins

Yield: 12 Servings

1 1/2cAll-purpose flour
1/4cSugar
2tsBaking powder
1tsSalt
1cWheat germ
3/4cMilk
1/4cDark molasses
1/4cMargarine
1lgEgg

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease 12 muffin tins. Use paper liners if you prefer. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Melt margarine and beat the egg well. Add to the flour mixture along with rest of ingredients. Stir just enough to moisten ingredients. Batter will be lumpy. Fill each muffin cup 2/3 full and bake for 15 minutes or until browned on top. Yield: 12 muffins. Serving Ideas : Serve this healthy muffin and fruit for a quick breakfast. Recipe by: Jo Anne Merrill
